Author Help with Flash Video

I want to get into using flash video in my site design...I saw these two
websites...can anyone tell me how this was done and are there any tutorials for
how to accomplish.....

The sites are mixed between adobe after effects and masking effects achieved by
masking effects used on adobe flash 8. If you type using alpha videos into
google you should get a result from adobe how to embed them into flash. Masking
in flash is basically the same in fireworks. Draw a "window" in a seporate
frame above the item you want to mask off, (it can be any shape) right click on
the layer and select mask. Now you should notice that the frames below will
have been "filed" below the masking layer. You can animate the mask to allow
the window to shrink, expand or move round the page.
