Author Help! SWF object shows in IE but not Firefox - JS conflict?

Hi, we are currently beta testing a new site http://tinyurl.com/fe2kw

In Internet Explorer, there is a SWF 'sound off/on speaker' icon that shows
on the right of the screen. However, in FF this doesn't show up.

It seems to be connected to each browser using a different .js file to
display the street. IE uses ieel.js and FF uses opffel.js. However we
cannot think how JS can prevent SWF objects displaying.

If anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
