| Good afternoon to you all,
As usual when I have to revert to forums, I'm going to slapping my own
forehead soon enough, I know, but I wonder if someone could help me.
Basically, I've produced a web page in Flash (although in retrospect it may
have been easier not to, but never mind), and I'm having a bit of trouble
getting it to do what I want.
You can have at where I'm up to here - www.mindfill.co.uk/test.htm
You'll notice that large blank space in the middle of the page. What I want
there is a 'reading pane' inc. scroll bars in which I can display different
HTML pages.
My initial thought was to putting it all in DW8 and using layers, but Flash
objects always seem to want to come to the foreground, and anyway, I'm pretty
certain that it wouldn't look that nice.
How do I create a suitable 'reading pane' in Flash? I bet it's dead easy, but
I'm having a bit of a brainwrong.
thanks for your help
Richard

| Hmm, so let me see if I hear what you are saying:)
You want a movieClip(reading pane) in the middle of your page that will then
display other html pages?, or text and graphics?
Also, will this be dynamically loaded or hard coded?
Just off the top of my head, before I hear more, I am thinking you could use
the Window Component or the Scroll Pane component (both are available in the
Pro version of Flash. Which version do you have?
