| Hey there, would appreciate some guidance on this!
I have a situation where a website is split up into different loaded SWFs in
different layers, ie: i have a background_skin layer, navigation layer and each
page has its own SWF. To navigate around the site, the user clicks a button
from the navbar (eg. About Us) and the requested page (about us) loads as a
separate SWF over the background_skin layer.
In order to keep the background_skin layer visible behind the site content
(which i want to do) the SWFs are loaded and unloaded as the user clicks around.
I have the loading part how i want it, (animation wise) as the content loads
after the preloader, thats great, but its unloading i have an issue with.
When the user is on the homepage for example, and navigates to gallery, I want
the homepage to animate before it unloads (ie. appear as if it is fading into
the background skin) and then i want the requested page to preload and then
animate in. How can I achieve this effect if the user is clicking on different
links in the navigation bar?? Can anyone point me in the right direction??
Much help would be appreciated!!!!! =]
