Hi Chris, I've just placed another post on this subject as I can't find any
information which discusses this topic. When you say this is a Mac issue do you
mean its a bug with Flash on a Mac or that it's a problem with the Mac OS?

I'm having the same problem except it doesn't matter what format I try to
import into Flash Pro 8. I've tried .jpg and .png and .pict. All the files
loose saturation develop pronounced artifacts or banding that you don't see in
photoshop. I'm on a Mac, OS 10.4.6, using Photoshop CS2. I don't think the
problem is the Mac but has somehting to do with the color saved from photoshop
and then interpreted in Flash. They are seeing the files the same way. But
what to adjust??? I'm using an sRGB color space in photoshop and it is as if
Flash is not. That is all I can think of. Nothing I bring into Flash looks as
good as it did in Photoshop. Another issue that might be related is that when
I "Save for Web" in Photoshop. I notice that the files brighten and lose color
saturation as well when looking at them in that preview window before I save
them. Any ideas? Anyone find a solution for this?
