No, bu you can make a separate movie clip. Just do ctrl-F8
and choose movie clip. There you have a layer on which you
can make you animation. This movie clip loops for itself if
you wish. When it is finished, you can fetch in the library
and place it anywhere in the stage.

Look in the help files and do as I did, read the tutorials
available in the hundreds of thousends out there on the net.

i hav never heard of the abilty to loop a layer, but there is a way. Just turn layer 2 frames in to movie clip . In the movie clip on the last frame put gotoAndPlay(1). Very simple i think.

What I have seen on certain animation is that one part of a page is a logo is
turning on it self on a corner, while an other animation is going on...

At first I thought that may be there wer different swf file but when I was
stoping the main animatiion , all animiation stops.

SO then I thing that it was possible to get a particular layer which was
always looping on itself.

I will test your solution

you do not need a gotoAndPlay for movie clips - they loop by default.
Anything you want to loop - even after the main timeline has stopped - place in a movie clip.

it could very well be individual swf files loaded dynamically - it could also be movie clips. either
way will work.
