Hey everyone..

I am designing a site for a friend of mine, and I was wondering if y'all could
help me out. This site is basically for his video reel, but Im trying to make
it as simple as possible.I wanted to use animated Flash Buttons, and have that
trigger something in the main scene. But I wanted to ask if I should even be
using a flash timeline to show a 3 minute reel...
Another question. Can I make the buttons, and then use them to target an HTML
page (Using Dreamweaver) so that only the buttons are the ones taht use flash,
while everything else I make in Dreamweaver? Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

Yes, I think you are probably better off just using HTML/Dreamweaver. To
show off a video reel you don't need much and you can still present it well
in HTML. If you need to ask about very basic Flash issues, then I doubt that
you're going to produce a better result using Flash than HTML in the short
term.

That's right. If it is simple one, Dreamweaver/HTML is good.

But flash can change the look of the site. But editing will be a little difficult since you always need the fla file.

Yes, look up the getURL command in the Flash help:

getURL("html url here", "target");

for example:

getURL("page.html", "_blank");

;) good luck
