Can anyone tell me how i can go about stroking an object that already exists on
the stage? I mean, i know you can set a rectangle or a circle to be drawn with
a stroke, and then drag it out and it will be stroked. But i have objects that
i brought in from illustrator and i would like to create a stroke around them.
Sort of like how you can command+click on a layer in photoshop, see its marquee
transparency moving around the object, and then go to edit > stroke, then
create a stroke around that object. Is this possible in flash? because ive
wanted to do this for a LONG time. any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

The little 'ink bottle' tool beside the fill tool is your stroke.
