Hello,

Does anyone have experience with the following issue.

1. I have an existing flash-website with several pictures on it. I've designed
that site for my friend, a non-technical user.
2. PURPOSE: I want to create a sort of back-office function on the website,
with a login (username of my friend) and password. The purpose is that the
non-technical user can loging an modify the website by his own by adding
pictures on the website. So , he must get the possibility to change online the
site. (without inference of me).

Does anyone can help me with this?
How do I have to start?
How do I change a Flash-page online? (connecting to server, downloading page,
modifying page, and save page to server (uploading to server).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Tinderstick.

Don't approach this by having to modify/recompile the page.

Instead, make the content in the Flash site be loaded externally. If it's
data like text, links, numbers, titles, locations etc. make flash read it at
runtime from a text file (see LoadVars) or an XML file (see XML() ).

Flash 6/7 can load JPG files at runtime for your picture needs, and MP3
files for your audio needs, as well as FLV files for videos.

Flash 8 can also load GIF/PNG files.

Once the Flash site is "smart" and is designed to load external data, the
modification of that external data is trivial and not any different than
making a backend for an HTML site.
