In html you can make forms to send data to external files. Can this be done in
flash? I want my client to be able to submit information in a form in flash
and have it saved to a file on the server for later use. I can only find ways
to pass information to scripts for temporary use, not to store.

This is the site design forum where people get feedback on their websites. Post technical questions to macromedia.flash or
macromedia.flash.actionscript

I think it is not so obvious that newcomers to this group
realize that it is only for commenting the looks of flash
sites and giving tips on changes.

It took me a while before I realized that.

Still, it is good to divide the different interest fields of
course although they grip into each other sometimes.

I've learned...
