After Installing the latest IE7 Beta update released on March 20 2006, my swf's
(And some on other sites) have an ugly border around them which disappears when
the swf is clicked.

Is there a tidy way around this?

One of my sites is an ugly example of this intrusive border.

Do we have to embed swf's differently from now on? Thanks for any info.

Yes .. this is the new ActiveX activation forced on us all by the EOLAS
patent claims against MS

You have to do specila things to your web page (using external javascript)
to make it automatically activate
