| Hello,
I just designed a new website to promote a CD album release. I created all my
menu buttons in Flash 8 and have been doing limited testing before full-on
promoting the website. I have gotten reports from probably 20% of the users
that the menu buttons do not show up. After researching this I believe the
buttons will only work if the user computer has Flash 8 player installed. I
have changed the html code from ver. 7 to 8, to force the download in the user
computer but even then may require leaving the site and coming back for it to
work.
I don't really know why these buttons will only work in Flash 8, the
functionality is fairly simple. Does anyone know how to make these buttons
work in older versions of Flash? My website is www.richardzeier.com , thanks.
