Running .swf file on a plasma screen
|
|
|
| My client wants to run a .swf flash movie on their laptop and display it on a
42" 16:9 plasma screen with pixel dimensions 1024 x 768
Sounds easy. 'Just make the size of the Flash movie 1024 x 768.' I thought.
However in Flash, 1024 x 768 doesn't give an aspect ratio of 16:9, it's more
like non-widescreen 4:3
So the question is: If I make my Flash file this size will it be distorted on
the plasma screen and if so, what can I do about it?
Anybody got any ideas?

| It sounds like the plasma screen has rectangular pixels?
Or the given resolution is just plain wrong. I think the latter.
In any case, It would definitely be stretched.
I would just build it in pixel ratio 16x9. Can't you simply test it?
