Hello, can any body tell me why some of my Photoshop CS1 PNG files are
importing with a sold white background and not tranparent. I have a PhotoShop
file that I converted the layers into individual 24bit PNG files and imported
them into Flash MX with only half of them transparent. I went back to the
PhotoShop file and converted each layer again into PNG's and that still didn't
work. Has anybody else experienced this? And if so did you figure out what the
problem was.

I always do that when I save the files from PhotoShop, in fact I'm using the Lynda.com tutorial for PhotoShop and Flash intergration, and I still have the same results. I'm completely confused.

It's hard to tell what's going on but I never have had that happen.
When you save it you are seeing the checkerboard pattern at the
transparent parts in Photoshop?
(layers that shouldn't be included in the picture have to be turned
off with the eye-con
You are not erasing on layer called "background"? (you can't use that
one)
You are using "Save As" and choosing png format?
OR
Save For Web..PNG 24 with transparency check turned on?
And in Flash.. Import or Import to Library?
I really dunno otherwise what it could be.
