| I've got a site that requires Flash 8 player to be viewed. I've been looking
everywhere to find an official way of checking a browsers flash plugin version,
and if that version is old, it either updates it automatically, or directs them
to the proper site for downloading the latest version. There are a few
Javascripts out there that handle this, but only part of the time, on certain
browsers, and even only on certain types of systems. I don't want to just have
a message that says "If you can't see the image and menu above these words, you
need to go here to download the latest version of flash." Not professional as
I see it. Anyone know? These forums don't really have the answer either, not
that I could find at least.
