Buttons skip to next frame?

| Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can shed some light? I have a flash movie where I have
approx 25 buttons, now all the buttons do is when you rollover they jump to a
certain point in my timeframe to display a different image. My problem is that
if you rollover the same button twice it skips to the next image automatically
- as if you rolled over the next button but you didn?t.
Anyone got any ideas on how to stop this from happening?

| Hi,
Ive experienced this a fw times and the way i have got around it is to send
the timeline to the frame before the one you want.
For example....
So lets say frame 10 is the frame you want to navigate to. Put the keyframe at
frame 9 and add a frame on frame 10. Then put a stop(); command on frame 10.
Then on your button actions just send it to frame 9.
Hope this helps.
Im sure there's an easier way though.
Cheers
Alan

| Hi Alan,
Good shout!! I changed the buttons to target the keyframe before my stop() and
duplicated my image on that frame so that it blends in seamlessly. Many thanks
for taking the time to respond, very much appreciated.
Thanks!!
Danny
P.s. Thanks also Droopy - Alan had the answer
