| Hi lads,
I need your help. I have a flash file 150 by 150 of a clock /file name is
clock.swf.
My main navigational banner on my site is 750 by 150./ file name is banner.gif.
I need the clock flash file to be incorporated in main site banner, As i am
new to flash and have very limited knowledge is there a simple way of achieving
my goal by importing the banner.gif into my clock.swf as a background or
something.
could someone give me a simple way to do it , if you get my drift.
Love it if u can help me

| You can't import anything into a GIF - GIF is compressed format.
You can import a GIF into a flash file but not the SWF - you need the source file (FLA).
Do you have Flash? If so, create a new doc and ajust it's stage size - then import your GIF image.
Then you can use the loadMovie to dynamically load the SWF at run time.

Hi Chris,
thank you very much for your time.
Yes I have the fla for the clock.swf file.I will follow your directions as I
do have flash. MX2004
I understand everything like create new document and make the stage same size
as my banner needs but you lost me on this :
Then you can use the loadMovie to dynamically load the SWF at run
time.Text
You there Chris?

| Cool - if you have the FLA then you dont need loadMovie - just create a new layer and import the GIF
into it.
