how do you play 2 scences at once then just repeat one of the scences over and
over, i want to create a scene with just a image that use alpha setting at 0
then increases to 100% over 20 seconds whilst the site is loading? then just
play scene 1 over and over.

can i also ask preloaders are created using timline and motion tweens?

hello,
wouldn't it be easier if you add the scene that you want to repeat in a separate movie clip that will loop, that the other scene in one that doesn't?... i mean.. i think it will work better.

thanks for the reply

im new to this as you may have guessed, if i create a movie with the picture
in a layer and turned of the repeat in the properties menu it stops the hole
page after played through.
All i want to do is create some images blending in when the page loads then
make the whole page viewable with all images and text but make my logo repeat,
am i best to make the log a movie file too? and just repeat that?
think im answering my own question but any other opinions are more than
welcome.

it blends in images and the has preloder on half the page, any sites i can
look to get to understand how i can do this prelodaer with scroll menu option?

to stop an animated movie clip from playing, add a keyframe at the end of a
layer, select it, press F9(the actions pannel should appear). in hte actions
pannel just type [i]stop();[/i] . that's it.. i hope you made it.. and.. yes
make the logo also a movie clip, but when i said movie clips i din't ment
different files.. just add a new symbol, as a movie clip.. i hope you will
handle it..

i understand that but if i insert a layer and put a behaviour into it it will stop all the flash page, including the logo, i wish the logo to keep on repeating on the page by itself

ok, well, that was not what i ment.
i ade an example so you can understand better how to do this.

thake a look at the fla, you will see there are the 2 rectangles in it, each
of them is a movie clip, double click the red one and you will see that at the
end of it there is a key frame that has a stop() action. the other one doesn't
have such a thing.. i hope you understand how it works.
