Hi all. I posted this on Flashkit too, no answers. Can anyone help?
I made a button according to all instructions. (this is not my first
button--others have worked fine) It has a hit state that is bigger than the
button. All button parts are static text. Button seems to work fine on the
Stage.

when it tests, previews & exports, though, there seems to be a "hole" in the
button. The little pointer hand does not appear in the center...just near the
edges. What gives?

Also, for some reason this button is a couple pixels higher than the others,
even though on the coordinates it is exactly the same. That may not be related
but if anyone has the answer to THAT I'd appreciated it too.

Perhaps your hit is only on the stroke and not the fill?

hello,
i don't know exactly what could be the problem, all i can think that it might
be a problem with an alignment, but i can;t tell for sure. it would be great if
you could export the fla somewhere on the internet so we could see it. also if
you could send me the fla(only the buttons section), or upload it on the
internet, it would be great.

Thanks, Droopy. I tried to save it to my storage area on the web, but the whole
movie is too big...and when I cut and paste just the scene with the problems
into a new file, the button doesn't work at all. Any way you could help me
figure this out without seeing the fla? sorry

well, i can't really imagine what's going on, so could you please.. export onyl
the button so i could see it.. or make some print screens with the button not
working as it should so i can understand..
