is there a way to connect Flash and Java.
I created a site using Flash, and I have to integrate some code written in Java is there a way.
Pls help

You should post this in the remoting forum...

The simple answer is yes!

It requires a gateway... That's about the extent of my knowledge of it... Sorry.

Yes it can be done, quite simply. You use the "fscommand" class. you can use
this to communicate with the DOM of the parent media, e.g. the HTML file the
swf is loaded in the browser and so if you have java scripts running in said
page Flash can talk to them and also, Java can talk to flash.. This is a good
way of having clever flash headers on HTML pages, Just have Javascript hold a
variable that flash can then go and load the content into the swf specific to
that page.

There are a few articles on her, I'll dig em out when I get a chance for you.
