Try this:
Take an image(jpeg, gif whatever) that contains some lines . Cut the image in
2 smaller images and create an html and put those images in a html table so the
initial image will be created. Now let's say take the left image and insert it
in a swf flash file. In flash set the image so it will not be altered, that
means 100% image quality, 100% image render on flash settings etc. Now replace
the left image from the html file with the swf file. You will see that on the
right side of the swf file, the image seems to be upper or lower than the image
from the right. It's a small difference of 1-2 pixels, especially if you have a
line that exists both in left and right images. Any ideas why?

Any ideas on this?

I have a site in progress where it's required that my swf line up perfectly
with other images in an HTML table. It seems that the swf lines up fine on a
Mac testing with Safari, Firefox, IE, and Netscape when I publish to v7.
However, if I publish to anything prior to 7, it doesn't line up.

Here's the test site: http://www.designdistrictinc.com/466444532/default.htm

There is also a color problem - all the jpgs have an ICC profile attached and
work fine in all the browsers except Safari. If you view the link with Safari,
you'll notice the colors don't quite match.

For Radu Cosma

there is one answer : flash works with vectorial graphic and u used a punctual
graphic.

Banuiesc ca esti din romania ! (dupa nume)

Trebuie sa centrezi perfect imaginea astfel incat sa para perfect in pagina.

Anyway, it will never be ... !

Asta pentru ca .. ti-am zis ! e o mare diferenta intre cele doua !

bencallahan, you have the same problem ! trie to center by eye your image in
flash. Your image (flash) is lower than the image from table.

You can make ALL in Flash and use vectorial graphic. Your ideea is great but
the site is loading ... long time - because of the images. You can design your
own TV in Flash !

I'd love to do it all in Flash - but the client doesn't want to pay for a Flash
site - which is why the remote is so basic.

I'd like to know why it works perfectly if I publish for v7 of the player...
Any ideas there?
