Skipping scenes - works fine in .fla but not .swf

| Hello,
I am working on a portfolio in Flash. It was working fine all around but now
it's not.
It's set so that the user clicks on the "next" button and goes to the next
scene, which is a different portfolio piece. It works fine in the .fla file,
going to the correct next scene, but when I publish it, it skips and just goes
to random scenes!!! This is a problem I need to have fixed ASAP and I don't
understand what could be causing it!! it worked fine yesterday! And it works
when I click through it in the .fla file.
Any help would be great... thanks in advance!

| Hi Cara,
you NEVER use scenes in Flash, because of that prblem! create
movie-clips instead and put them on the timeline in different
keyframes.

Why do you want people to just guess what's wrong with it? You need
to provide information about how you made your file or post a link to
the source code or post the code that is on the buttons.
