| Hi I am trying to ascertain what is a maximum file size for homepages
and other pages on Flash sites
Right now, a Flahs site I am developing
http://www.sweetybomb.com
is stalling on Apple Safari browser among others
The homepage is 300kb, which I thought was small,
but I guess needs to be smaller
The website will work at first, but if I refresh the browser
it will cease to work
please advise and if there are other JPEG compression
schemes to squash files sizes, that would be helpful
thanks:confused;

| I've had flash apps over 1MB a few times without any problem. Is your project trying to load external movies, graphics? Or are all of the resources included in the swf?

| i should say that my Flash movie with all
th externals is around 15-20 MB
I guess that's too big
and yes, I am using loadMovie for my bitmaps and
SWFs
