Hi actionmen and women,

I have been trying to find a way to create a field in flash that will load
txt, php, html or whatever available text format from my server. The thing is,
the guy im making the site for wants to be able to modify the words without
using flash (news sections ect). So, i need to create a scrollpane that will
load the file automatically. I have tried everything that springs to my tiny
little head. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Im sure its simple once you
know. The other small problem is that the background to the text needs to be
clear as to not affect the design. Thanks one and all.

you just need to make a dynamic text field and give it a variable name "name"
then use a loadvariables command call the txt file or PHP file. then in your
txt file the first line will have the same variable name "name" = and then your
content.
goto actionscript.org they have a tut on it.
