Ok i hope this is something silly and easy to fix...
I type in a red word in frame1.
I break it apart, then copy it all.
then create a new frame in frame 7 and paste the text in the same spot
I change the color to grey
then create a shape tween between the frames to make the red fade into grey.
however, for text, 1/2 the time i try doing this, when i play the fading, the
letters morph all funky before reaching the final frame.

I don't understand why it's trying to morph the letters when i am only
changing the color.
anyone know of a way to fix this?

never mind i figurd it out...i was using the shape tween instead of the motion tween. DUh
