| hi to all,
I've noticed that my swf file is the same size if saved in flash7 or 6 form,
so is it a good idea to save it in flash 6 to make it usable for viewers who
don't have the latest plugin version? should i downgrade to lower than 6 for
the same reason ?
I have no idea of the differences between the 2, and I'm only using flash for
a simple index-intro page, after that, it's all good (well amateurish actually
) html.
thanks for any help
p.s.. 25 days left on my trial, so I'm up all night every night on it . hope i
won't get in trouble with the wife ! :frown;

You should downgrade to the lowest version that you can do that supports the
features you are using.
EXCEPT: it is often good to stay at version 6 as your lowest, as it offers
compressed SWF output (which version 5 and lower do not have) .. so as soon
as you go to version 5, your SWF file size will have to increase.
