Importing .ai files

| My Flash program keeps stop responding when I try to import an .ai file. It has worked decently for the past few weeks, but this week it just freezes up. Anybody heard of this problem before?

| try copying and pasting the file. I generally use this process save me lot of time and temporary files.

| I have had the same problem since I started using flash and I do copy and
paste. However, I believe this to be a weaker method -- your vectors do not
stay as crisp and clean and you never can tell how well your transparent
graphics are going to show up. I'm very disappointed with Flash for this very
reason. I was an Adobe Livemotion trial person and it handled outside graphics
beautifully. However, that is understandable seeing as how Adobe is really a
graphic designer's company. I'm hoping with the merge of these two companies
some of Adobe's graphics handling will transfer into Flash! Anyway, I'm ranting
but wanted to express that although cutting and pasting works, it isn't as good!
