I'm trying to optimise a site that's got files like the below in about
a zillion times and I need some help in determining what needs to be
there and what doesn, if you could be of assist here please..

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0"
width="108" height="46" hspace="0" vspace="0">
<param name="BASE" value=".">
<param name=movie value="yada.swf">
<param name=quality value=high>
<param name="BGCOLOR" value="">
<embed src="yada.swf" width="108" height="46" hspace="0"
vspace="0" quality=high
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="" base=".">
</embed>
</object>

How come it all seems to be duplicated in there, is this for different
browsers or something please? I'd like to delete everything between
the embed tags but I'm not sure if that'll bring a cascade of
complaints from obscure-browsers'r'us.com that the site doesn't work
properly.
Advice gratefully received.
