| i've got the basics down with dynamic / external text.
i'm building a website for someone and i need to make it code free and easy to
update. if anyone can point me towards any tutorials or offer any suggestions i
would be quite grateful.
what i want to build would be similar to a contact form, where the end user
could log in and post news updates. then the submit button would instead of
sending an email, write the update to an existing .txt file that the news
section would access.
i'm a bit lost as to where to begin with this, my problems are that i need it
to not overwrite, but add to the .txt file, and i need it to be formatted with
class tags so that the css displays it properly.
is this a bit overboard? should i just let the end user manually update the
text file? i wish i could design and program, that would solve everything.
thanks for your time!
