| hey mathew,
im a newbie to FLASH but have come across the same problem. In my case it
seems FLASH does not like it when you move your imported images around.
Although it says it has imported the image to the library, its not so
simple...It actually takes note of the file address on your drive so if that
changes you gonna have problems.
To solve your problem you need to run through all of your imported Library
items and check to see if there is a preview available for it. If no preview
appears in the library's preview window, then right click on the file and
click update. It will then show you where FLASH thinks your source file is
on your hard drive. If you have not moved it from there just click update
and WHALA you should see a preview of the picture. This needs to be done for
all your library items that have no preview available.
You should then be able to publish your movie.
Hope this helps.
