| hey ,
I want to have javascript file (.js) with a function to detect if flash
plugin (for netscape ,mozilla etc) or flash activeX exists in that browser
or not. Therefor display an alternate content (image ,text etc) if not
found. I have done this to detect a flash player in IE using javascript
having VB Script . But this is not applicable for navigator class browser
plugin detection with plugin version detection also.
I am toooooo confused .plzzz help.

| wouldn,t it be better for ur flash to detect the version and plugin, than javascript. It then becomes browser compatible.
