| Hi. I'm a complete newbie to Flash. I've read tutorials and tried motion
tweening. That's easy for me when it's just a basic shape.
Now I'm trying to make a layout for my fansite for the movie Thirteen. I need
rollovers on the pics along the "film strip"
http://thirteen.my-age.net/layout.jpg. I tried doing it with image mapping and
that didn't work. I figured flash would be the easiest. I've searched for
tutorials and I can't find a thing. I was wondering if anyone could help me.
This is what I mean:
On each of the pics on the "film strip", when somone hovers over one of them,
it will go to a hover picture that is a .gif animation.
I hope you know what I mean.
Thanks in advance!!

| just make buttons on top of the part you want to be clickable. Make the HIT
frame the same size as the jpeg that you want the user to click on...

| it is good that you tok flash easy. so nowif you want to use some rool effect
on your button so don't use button use movie clip
give a nice animation in it and put 3 keyframes in it (and as manny frmes
between them) first and second keyframed are stoped by default at design time
by .stop(), function and on roll over event of movie clip put goto and play 2
and it will runtill second key frame then onroll out play the frame which is
next to second keyframe.
try it it will help you definetly and if it will cunfuse u so do tell me i
will send you the code
