hi,

My custom cursor is causing my site to crash my computer during my visits.

I want to keep the cursor, but not to put people off my site, or damage their
computers/loose their unsaved work.

Anything i can do to stop this happening and keep the cursor?

cheers.

My site seems to be stable when each page is left alone (if the
customer/visitor is reading it)

But playing with/exciting/over-using the cursor is what seems to be the
problem.

the thing is that the cursor and buttons are a major aspect of my site, and
were a novel asset to it!

Anyone feel that mabe adding a warning on the loading page/or at the side of
the index saying....

"over excitement of the cursor may cause your computer to crash. Please save
any unfinished work and navigate the site gently"

is acceptable? or would be a good idea?

:(

Oh yeah! sorry!

I totaly forgot the link for my new site!
How stupid of me! duh.

Here it is...

basicaly im making & selling arts & crafts stuff (hopefully) and some
bedroom/beds stuff cause Im not really going to be making enough money from
just the arts & crafts.

This is my first site & I guess I was a bit over the top.. & I never
considered load times ect,, ect...
So im hoping I can come to a compromise somewhere...

Any suggestions appreciated!

Im working on the load-bar at the moment. And mabe a short animation to play
to help fill-in the loadtime as well, just adter the load-bar screen.

I still got a lot of work to do..And havent a clue how to set up the shopping
cart and payment facility yet.

The cursor seems a bit settled now.
I dropped a load of unrequired animation frames that I had overused as
keyframes ect....
so thats helped a lot with the whole balance...
but im adamant to not sacrifice any graphics quality...
i dunno.
hope you more experienced flash guys can help me out get my site tailored a
bit better.

cheers
