Hey all, this is my first post and as a real NEWBIE to flash I hope someone can
help. Currently we are building two players for our videos - 1 for dialup and
1 for highspeed. I'd like to build one player that gives the user an option of
using either one. So the question(s) is

1. Can this be done and how
2. Do I have to do anything with the video files to accomplish this.

Thanks,

Chuck

1. This can be done, and easily!
2. Yes. The best option is to encode your videos for both connections (like a
_56k and a _128k preset). While loading the videos, yor player just need to
check out the connection and load the proper video.

Thanks! Currently I convert the videos to flv, build the player then upload
both to the server. Do you mean that I can open flash, insert the video into
the player right there and then set the connection speeds?
