Author Frame rates in Browser

Hi,

I'm sure this probably has been covered before, forgive me.

My flash movie's frame rate is 30fps and when testing the SWF it plays back at
the correct speed however when published, the browser (internet explorer v.6)
I'm testing with always plays back at roughly 3/4 the desired frame rate. This
seems consistant no matter the intensity of the flash movie with regards to
file size etc. Computing horsepower is also not an issue here.

Is there a way to overcome this or could it possibly be a browser limitation
or setting?

Thanks
