| I am currently designed a navigation bar for a website. I have made some
buttons to link to other pages in flash. I have changed the buttons 'up' 'over'
'down' and 'hit' states. The text changes colour on the 'over' state and the
button moves on the 'down' state. However when i try the buttons out once the
button has been clicked it will move and then move back to its original state.
I was wondering whether it was possibly to keep the 'down' state until the page
is no longer being viewed. You can do this on fireworks but is it possible on
flash? Please could someone help me as soon as possible. It is really important
Thanks

| You can either replace the button with a different button once clicked, or you
can use a movieclip rather then a button and each frame would be a differnt
state, this way you can control which state is displayed and when by using
gotoAndStop.
