I cant get the text to fade. I have done the following:

-Created both a graphic and movie symbol
-Created two key frames and motion tweened them by changing the alpha on the
final key frame to 0
-If I hit enter, then i can see the fading process, but when I test the movie
nothing happens
-I am currently trying to make this happen in the slideshow presentation
project area, but have tried the same thing normally still with no success. I
just want to fade my freaking text. Anybody out there have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about this but I don't think this is possible with dynamic text. Have you made sure that you're using static text in your motion tween?

This *is* possible with dynamic text. Absolutely! With dynamic text,
it's just that the font outlines must be included.
