mouseMove action for a masked MovieClip. How?

Hi,
I have been trying to find out how to configure a action for movement of a
masked movie clip by mouseMove, using:

onClipEvent(mouseMove){
this._x = _root._xmouse;
this._y = _root._ymouse;
}

But it is not working well. I want that the movie clip moves to the opposite
side (mouse movement to right, movieclip going to the left, and I want it stop
at the end of the movieclip, and by this way above, the thing still going and
leting my scene empty...
Someone can help me?
