| Do not EVER use transparent mode.. its so incredibly buggy and unreliable
that it will cause you no end of problems.
Use opaque mode if you want some dhtml/java elements to appear over the SWF
... opaque mode does not suffer all the nasty bugs of the all-but-useless
transparent mode

| Then you've not used it enough, or have been very very lucky .. it is
incredibly buggy and has side effects like scrolling not working, objects
shifting, input text not working, movie playing upside down etc. Each
player has different sets of bugs. If you use transparent mode, then its
only a matter of time before these bug bite you so you are better off simply
never using it. Not until MM actually make it work and have it working for
long enough that you can guarantee that most of your site visitors will have
a player that works. So far, MM has never ever gotten transparent mode
right.
