:disgust; I really need help. I'm trying to put my Macromedia Flash MX
slideshow (.swf file) onto my angelfire.com webpage. For some reason every
time I go to upload my .swf file it won't work. It gives me the "page cannot
be displayed" screen. Is there something I need to do to pubplish it onto my
website? I asked the anglfire support center and they couldn't figure it out.
I'm wondering if maybe they just don't support flash. Please help! :disgust;

"page cannot be displayed" message means that ur index.html file cannot be found. Upload ur html and swf files. Then check

Well, my index.html file is there...I don't know what to do. It takes about
half an hour to upload the .swf file and then it gives me that message (right
after the upload should have been loaded). I can view my homepage and
everything, but the flash file doesn't work. If anyone wants to maybe check
out my homepage and tell me what I am doing wrong, it would be appreciated.

if joo're confident w/jer html skills, open that index.html file, Check the
paths that call jer movie..........make sure they're not being called to a
location in jer Hard Drive....like C:\my movie.swf, etc........if jer paths are
ok, check to make sure you're uploading the files to a location similar to
where you're exporting..............when everything else fails......try hitting
the movie directly www.mysite.com/bobby/myswf.swf
if nothing comes up, either joo're provider has some sort of limitation on
file size, extension, etc...............my 2 cents, hope they help.

give me the path to ur swf file.
Is it : http://www.angelfire.com/hi5/evergr...seslideshow.swf
if it is I cant find it. maybe its not uploaded.
If u want I can host ur swf at my webspace for checking why its not loading.

atlacatl, that does help. I'm going to try a few things and if that doesn't
work I may take you up on that offer, merlinvicki. Thanks guys. Oh yeah, this
is the URL to the
file...http://www.angelfire.com/hi5/evergr...seslideshow.swf I
just can't get it to upload so it won't exist yet (but that's what it is going
to be if all goes well). I'll let you know if I fix it.
