| I want to animate flash buttons and place them on dreamweaver...how do I play with the scales between the two? How can I make the background transparent so my graphic stands alone on dreamweaver?

| Try using Photoshop to create transparent gifs or png's and import them. If
masking is simple, you can break the image apart and remove the background -
then reconvert - but that can be arduous and have poor results with difficult
graphics.
I have a piece at http://www.datalog.tv/splash/splash_anim.html that uses pngs
with transparent backgrounds created in photoshop.

| when u put a flash button in dreamweaver put this code in the object tags:
<param name="wmode" value="transparent"> and
put this code in ur embed tags:
wmode="transparent"
Note: Transparent mode has been found to be buggy for some browsers like
Mozilla and interferes with the code. Still check it out.

| thats why its safer to go wit the second option:
make the backgroudcolor of ur flash btn the same as where u r going to place it in the html file. So it looks to be transparent.
