| I am making a site in Flash MX. I know HTML and CSS and all that but I decided
to try Flash instead. I really wanted to get some scrollbars or scrollpanels in
there like these at http://www.dcfilms.com (see where it says daily updates). I
was thinking scroll panels was the way to go but I had a few questions:
When I make a movie clip and just enter text in for that is what I want
scrolled, text, I then go Components-Scrollpane-Drag onto stage then go
properties-Parameters. In the parameters window I make the content path the
same as the identifier I made for the movie clip. When I preview it, there is a
scrollbox and everything but no content at all. Why is this? And when I manage
to get that working, how do I customize the scrollbars and everything to
produce a similar effect to the one at DC Films.com?
Also, when making a flash site, how should I link pages? Should a make each
page a different flash movie or what? And what would I do to link them all up?
