| Hi Frank,
Breaking up ur flash into scenes is a definite no-no.
If u have a heavy flash(size) u can consider breaking it up into smaller swfs
and load them as and when required. This not only gives u flexibility to update
ur project without too much fuss. Try loading text and images other than layout
imgs at runtime . this helps in keeping ur filesize small. Use more vectors
rather than images.

| I would prefer breaking the entire site in different swfs based on the sections
of the site. And then loading this swfs in one empty movie clip placed in the
main swf.
so you would have one main swf having the navigational menu and an empty movie
clip.
based on the selections in navigational menu you load the swfs.
with this you can give your user the option of seeing the intro (if you have
one) or not.
Also this leads to a more organized way of programming. Whenever any change is
required you just modify the related file and can upload the file without
disturbing others.
Waiting to look at your site .......

| Hi,
i noticed that when u have ur movie online broken apart into small scenes, the browser downloads all of them at same time...
is this true?

| Do u mean small swfs or scenes??
When u have child swf's loading into a parent movie, they are all first
downloaded onto the visitors local directory as and when they are called in ur
main movie.
If u r talking about scenes they are a part of ur main movie and will be
downloaded all at a time.
:)
