Hi, i am making a portfolio for all my illustrations and have a nav bar that
enables the user to select between the images. each image is in a seperate
movie with a starting bar preloader. i want it so that when the user clicks on
a link, the new image loads over the top of the previous image, similar to
http://www.microbians.com. the problem is that if i load each image into a
seperate layer, for example (image 1 loads onto level 1and image 10 loads onto
image 10, when the user tries to load image 1 again, it will be underneath the
new image.

I hope i explained this well enough, any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

hello,
use the mc.swapDepths() function.. it's perfect for what you need.

search into flash help for the function, and you will know how to use it.. it's simple.
