| Gotta love that disclaimer...anyway, I have made simple webpages before using
Microsoft publisher (don't laugh). I have Flash 5 now and I am making a
website for a doctor friend of mine. It's not finished yet but I would like to
put it on the web for him to see it's progress (he's in Atlanta, I am in Los
Angeles). My problem, is that I cannot seem to upload it to the website using
CuteFTP. Now, like I said, I'm new at this, so if anyone tries to explain
anything to me, please "pretend" as if I am retarded and don't know the meaning
of anything, so please explain it well. I would appreciate all the help I
could get.
Thanks a lot!

Publish the settings in HTML and Flash and then upload them and if you have
the username and password for the webhost, you should have no problems
uploading the pages.

| Yeah, also-- sometimes servers and hosting companies have a limit on the size
of a file that can be uploaded.
It stinks I know but make sure the size of your files does not exceed any
limit and, if they do, modularize accordingly.
Just a thought. Have seen it before.

| Hello,
I too am a newbie and have used Microsoft Publisher to create my website. I understand that I cannot use macromedia flash in Publisher to cause my live video to play on my site and that I need to use another web developing program to create the html for the video in order to publish video to my existing website. Macromedia is sending me to Microsoft Publisher and and vice a verse. Can anyone assist me in getting my live video up onto my website. Although the macromedia studio mx 2004 with flash came with dreamweaver, I am not technical enough to comprehend the complicated instructions in the dreamweaver help source. I know dahhhhhhh! Any suggestions are appreciated!
