| well here's my opnion - there's not much going on here that could have
been done using just html. the layout is fine, the navigation is fine -
but for an all-flash site - it doesn't do much for me - there's nothing
that says to me as to why flash was used - at first i though the sound
on my machine was off - but then realized you didn't even incoporate any
button sounds or anything - that alone would have been at least one
reason to use flash. The animation is pretty similar to what an animated
GIF would be - i kept wanted to click on the squares to the right but
they didn't do anything but update the images for each section - i kept
expecting them to move or morph into something else - i simply expected
more - more of a reason as to why Flash was chosen here - This is
usually how my Flash site start off - it feels like comps to me -
mock-ups of each section and now the next steps would be to add sound,
more interactivity - more dynamic content - more animation - justify the
use for flash.
General thinking is that, if it can be done in pure html, then it's
better for you and search engines and file sizes/load times, etc...
Or perhaps, like most sites, a hybrid between mostly html and some use
of flash integrated into the design.
This is a good start - but I would say it's finished as a "flash" site.
hope this help.
