Can anybody help me with this animation?

| Hi there,
I'm currently in desperation! I'm trying to create a simple feature for my
website - my header to 'expand' in the same fashion as you can see here:
http://www.springdigital.co.uk/
I'm wondering if there is -anyone- at all who can help me with this process,
as I have absolutely NO experience in Flash and do not even know where to
begin. This is such a huge favour to ask, but if anyone, please, contact me or
reply to this message.

It looks like they used 2 masks and created a tween to move the masks off
the stage. One up and one down. Simple stuff.
On the first layer make it 30 frames, then insert your image on the first
frame. Then insert 2 more layers(30 frames each). On the second layer
create a mask that covers your image, make the last frame a keyframe. Then
select the last frame and move the mask off the image upward. Then right
click on any frame in that layer and select 'create tween'. Do the same for
the 3rd layer. Export as a movie.

Do your learning first. You don't install Flash and then build menus
with it. You install Flash and then learn the basics of how to use
it, THEN build menus for your website. Start with the tutorials that
come with Flash.
