Author Multiple links on one button?

Hi everyone -
I turned a graphic into a button; when the mouse is on the button, a movieclip
plays.
The moveiclip is made of 6 different motion-tweened graphics, each of which
plays
for xx number of frames.
Moving the mouse off the button stops the clip and its associated sounds.
What I want to do is attach a different link to each motion-tweened graphic
and make
each different link clickable on the button - because, again, moving the mouse
off the
button stops the movieclip.
I think I see various ways to do this but all the Actionscript explanations
have become
a large blob of possibilities.
So. Is it even possible to have multiple links on a single button? I know it's
possible
in one way or another, perhaps not even using a button, but I can't seem to
see how.
Thanks.

Use a Movie Clip instead of a button. With a MC, you have a lot more
freedom, and still have access to all the button functions. Although it
takes a little more time, you can compleatly reproduce everything most
people love about buttons, but at the same have access to more of the
advanced functionality you are looking for.

There is a great example of this in the book "Flash Hacks" from
O'Reilly. Since this is a GREAT book imho, I don't really want to rip
the author off by posting his info here, but it's really cheap at
borders, and I suggest buying it to any one interested in finding great
info on a variety of tricky Flash techniques and industrial-strength
tricks.
