| wassup genius',
Is there a way to import text into flash without using "&" symbols? The
links I need to connect to have "&" in them, and the flash file leaves stuff
blank once it sees a & in a txt file. I can send the txt file and give a
link to the site if anyone is able to offer advice.
thanks so much in advance!

Yes, but you need to url-encode your text. You can use a tool I posted
long ago if you like...

| that's how the external text files work, they just need to update the text
file and replace the old one with the new one. you can see an example at
www.marycarwile.com and go to REVIEWS. To get a sample that you can
download and change to your liking go to:

| here are some escape characters you can use as well, so that you can use that
ampersand int he external text:
&32; Space
&33; Exclamation mark
&34; Quotation mark
&35; Number sign
&36; Dollar sign
&37; Percent sign
&38; Ampersand
&39; Apostrophe
&40; Left parenthesis
&41; Right parenthesis
&42; Asterisk
&43; Plus sign
&44; Comma
&45; Hyphen
&46; Period (fullstop)
&47; Solidus (slash)
Cheers!
