Author Render text as html -- will this help search engines?

Search engines look for text in html code. They won't 'crawl' a swf well and
extract info by which the site is listed. If I 'render as html' text in my
swf under properties: Does the resulting code in the published html file
(which is output as a comment with <p> tags for formatting) get looked at by
spiders and search engines?
